Message & Delivery: Distribution Research

Mail Shot Research

The idea of having a box as an envelope is from this design here. I looks very interesting and professional. I also like the personalised pictures that are signed by the person themselves which gives a personalised factor to the piece.

This really caught my eye when i seen this on behance website. The idea behind saying 'Its the cherry on the top' which they have used to hide the sim card just gives it a more of an interactive and relationship to the audience.

The mechanism of this leaflet is very intriguing and would be very tricky especially as it is double sided. I like the size of folded up piece and then to see how it fold out with the brain splitting is very inventive and is very relevant to the leaflet itself.

This first caught my eye with the numbers on as to me it represented the numbers that a prison officer is placed with when imprisoned into a cell. Although i think for the purpose of mailing one to the college and mailing it out it could become confusing to the postal service.

The quotation on here first caught my eye of the emphasis of the four walls the box is almost like a cell but obviously on a smaller scale. Although my quotation if i came to use it would be its freedom within these 4 walls.

I thought this was different and i liked how you could see the letter from the envelope as you can make sure the piece they are reading from the inside is very intriguing and therefore making them want to open the letter and read more.

This is also another personal factor again i like how the advertisement is showcasing its students personally and makes you think you are gaining more of a personal and accurate opinion although its just someone who has mock a leaflet up pretending to be someone else. This is false advertising although i do like how they have interlinked the university and the student into, connoting that they are one and have bonded together etc...

From my research i think i am wanting to go for a more personal route and the idea of a box envelope is appealing to my idea at the moment. I am going to experiment with these thoughts within my design practice blog to develop on with my own final mail shot.
