Initial Research - Practical

Interactive Poster Research

This is the best poster ever! I love how the onlooker delivers the message themselves by using the task within the message. People who don't like getting their hands dirty won't complete this experience and therefore that is a good thing, as this is a personal message "us" and therefore wouldn't apply to a person doing the task because they have been told to.

I think this is cool, because the development will be gradual and passers by will notice different words just by natural instinct. Therefore, different pens at use etc... it will create a very unique and individual design outcome.

This is a very clever design, by using the stock to deliver a sound and then relating this back to an everyday experience. Therefore everyone will have some connection to at least one of these posters, as this has been produced inline with the hearing sense, therefore this will more than likely bring back a memory of a time when this was used within there life. This was produced for a sound company.

This is a posters to promote an african music festival.. The use of the colouring in of the african masks will allow the onlooker, to take more time to take all the information in and also will allow each poster to be indvidual....

Again, a similar aspect as to Kelli Anderson... This is using different cones of paper to create different noises. This is a poster for a movie making competition....

I like idea of having the audience to open a door to see whats behind it... again the idea that covering up creates curiosity, and therefore by doing the task will make the message more memorable.

This is a good idea, as they use the audience to reveal the picture and therefore the meaning of the poster campaign. I like how passers by will be intrigued as it should change everyday therefore the use of repetition will make it more memorable.

I like the use of the paper folding into something to reveal a message, this would be very hard to layout and tricky to line up but, I like how the message builds up as the interaction develops therefore keeping them engaged.

This is an amazing poster, using the sense of touch with the sense of sound, which has been developed from technology. You do have to download an app for this poster although I do think this will be worth it in the end...

Previously Failed Digital Campaign

Finding digital campaigns that have failed have not been found easily as this is not a common outcome due to the digital campaign but mainly down to the way they have been translated to the audience, through the concept etc...

Blockbuster - No late fees.
Holiday Inn - Transsexual (Cheap rooms)
NatWest - NatYes Campaign

From the lack of failed digital campaigns I have decided that the poster will be my strongest options and therefore this is something I am going to look into next... What concept can I have behind a interactive poster?
